Arid-adapted game includes springbok, impalas steenbok and duiker can be seen on the Estate. One will also often see many meerkat, mongoose and dassies.
The rich birdlife in the area includes a third of the 600 species own to South Africa. Common residents in the Kalahari Golf Estate are hornbills, guinea fowls and pheasants species – amongst others.
Many reptiles also live in the Kalahari, including numerous lizard species. Remarkably some amphibians are also able to survive here. It is incredible to hear the frog chorus commence as soon as the rains arrive.
